Please read these T&C’s carefully before purchasing, by purchasing with Polychroma you’re agreeing to these terms and conditions. These terms and conditions apply to the use of this website and by accessing this website and/or placing an order you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions set out here. If you do not agree to be bound by these terms and conditions, you may not use or access this website. These terms and conditions abide by The Consumer Contract Regulations. You’re welcome to print or store these terms for your own records.

Polychroma own the copyright, trademarks and other intellectual property rights in all material and content on this website, which you may use, download, copy, publish, transmit or otherwise make available by any other means only for your own personal, non–commercial use. Any other use or reproduction of the material or content is strictly prohibited. You may not create any link to this website without prior written consent, nor may you restrict or inhibit the use or enjoyment of it by anyone else. While we will use reasonable endeavours to verify the accuracy of any information, we place on Polychroma website, we make no warranties, whether express or implied in relation to its accuracy.

This website contains material which is owned by or licensed to us. This material includes, but is not limited to, the design, layout, look, appearance and graphics. Reproduction is prohibited other than in accordance with the copyright notice which forms part of these terms and conditions. Occasionally this website may also include links to other websites. These links are provided for your convenience to provide further information. They do not signify that we endorse the website(s). We have no responsibility for the content of the linked website(s).

Wherever the term “Working Days or Hours” is featured, this excludes bank holidays, weekends and public holidays such as Christmas. Any holiday times will be clearly displayed on the homepage. When you place an order with Polychroma you will be sent an order confirmation detailing your order, this is giving you ample opportunity to correct any possible errors (such as incorrect size or colour). Should you have any complaints, please send them to the contact information detailed at the bottom of this document. These terms and conditions apply to all transactions on this site. They do not affect your statutory rights.

Products

All our nail polishes are handmade, vegan and cruelty free.

Keep out of reach of children and away from naked flame.

The full ingredients list is visible on the product listing – please check for allergens before use.

Some ingredients may settle in the bottle. Each polish contains mixing balls to help mix the polish so shake well before use.

Our thermal polishes need specific care as follows:

Some thermal pigments may clump slightly post-manufacture, which will appear as small blobs on your nail as you paint them. Ensure you give your thermal polishes a good shake before use and if you do notice a small blob, just remove it and continue with your manicure. Leaving the blob will result in the darker thermal colour showing through the warm colour.

**Please note that thermal polishes have an average transitioning life of 9 – 12 months and after this period may require exposure to more extreme temperatures to change colour and then may stop transitioning at all.  This is perfectly normal and your polish will still be perfectly safe to use. But we do recommend that you keep your thermal polish in a cool, dark place to help preserve it’s shelf life!

If temperatures hit 29°C and above, protect your thermal polishes by not using them and storing them in a fridge no lower than 5°C. Prolonged exposure to high temperatures will ‘burn’ a thermal so that it will not transition any more. No refunds will be given on thermal polishes ‘burned’ from high temperatures.


Prices

Prices are subject to change but are correct at time of posting. Any glitches, errors or typos are not required to be honoured. If an error or inaccuracy is discovered with regards to the advertised price of the goods that you have ordered, we will contact you as soon as possible by e-mail. This will be to inform you of the correct price of the goods, and to ask you if you wish to continue with the order at the amended price, or to cancel the order altogether. Any special offers will have a clear displayed end date.

Prices are displayed in British Pounds Sterling.

Payment

Polychroma accepts payments via Credit/Debit Card and PayPal via Etsy Payments.   

Any contract for purchases made through the website will be with Polychroma. Polychroma must receive payment of the whole of the price for the goods that you order before your order can be accepted, and the contract formed.

Shipping

Please allow up to 7 working days from purchase for your order to be shipped.

Delivery is by Royal Mail with a choice of 1st Class Small Parcel or 2nd Class Small Parcel.

You can choose your method of shipping at the checkout.


You will be notified via email when your order is dispatched.

Please allow for up to 7 working days for delivery following the dispatch of your order.

Returns & Cancellations

We ensure all items that are posted to our customers are of the highest standard but if there is ever a need to return an item we do accept returns for a full refund.

Under The Consumer Contract Regulations, your right to cancel begins from the moment you place your order, up to 14 working days after receiving your order. Your right to cancel is unconditional.

You can return an item for any reason such as faulty, not as described, not fit for purpose, you’ve changed your mind and more.

If you wish to return an item, please notify us in writing using the following model cancellation form (email is fine). We will then process your return.

We would be grateful if you would return your items via recorded or tracked post, this is for your peace of mind, and ours. This is not a requirement of law, this is a courtesy request.

Items marked as being reduced for having a defect, damage or any other reason will be exempt from the returns policy.

Return postage will be paid by the customer if the order is no longer wanted. If the reason for the return is our responsibility return postage will be paid by Polychroma.
